In May 2021, Habitat Youth Leaders and their co-founder was recognized by Rainn Wilson and Humanity Rising as a finalist for the $2500 Rainn Wilson Challenge Scholarship. Habitat Youth Leaders was one of 8 finalists out hundreds of applicants across the country.

Fundraiser for the Children's Defense Fund
Habitat Youth Leaders is currently raising money to benefit Children's Defense Fund, and any donation will help make an impact. The Children's Defense Fund (CDF) serves as the leading independent voice for all children in America focusing on the needs of every child, especially those most at risk due to poverty and inequality. They advocate for effective policies, implement community-based programs, and provide public education and outreach for families to access life-saving resources and critical research about what helps children in America survive and succeed.
