Jake

Hello, my name is Jake Williams. This upcoming year I’ll be a sophomore at Redwood High School. Last year -- when I was a freshman, I joined the Mock Trial team and Model UN club at my school and I plan to do both again this upcoming year. In addition to my school sponsored extra curriculars, I also do two others: MMA (mixed martial arts) and I’m also a patrol leader in my Boy Scout troop. I like taking on a variety of extracurriculars because I like to learn a variety of skills and meet a diverse variety of people so that I may learn things that will come in handy later in life and pass on what I’ve learned to others. I also like to know that I’m dedicating a good portion of my time towards something beneficial for me and other people by volunteering for things that benefit my community at my Boy Scout events, which is one of the reasons why I decided to become a part of Habitat Youth Leaders.
